Latvian Public Media has published an article about Voldemārs Bērziņš’s “Riga Bakery” in Australia

Once, one of the most striking Latvian business success stories outside the homeland was “Riga Bakery”, founded by Voldemārs Bērziņš in Sydney. From a small shop in postwar Australia, the business grew into one of the country’s most notable niche bread producers. The bakery not only promoted the name of Riga in Australia, but also brought Latvian bread-making traditions into wider circulation, supplying Australia’s east coast and even exporting its products to Singapore and Hong Kong.
