Caraway Seeds from Latvia and a Little Vodka in the Soup (Solvita & Mārtiņš Dambrovskis)

Solvita and Mārtiņš live in Denmark, where they enjoy angling, fishing, smoking, and grilling fish while following Latvian traditions. Even their smoker was purchased in Latvia. When cooking, they use various recipes but observe several important details: before smoking, they generously sprinkle the fish with Latvian caraway seeds; they add a little vodka to fish soup; and for Latvian events in Denmark, they always prepare herring under a fur coat.
